Plaza Companies partnered with Vi Living to create an exceptional Continuing Care Retirement Community in the community of Grayhawk in north Scottsdale.
About The Project
The Challenge
The project had to complement the surrounding master-planned community while providing a superior standard of living and care for its residents as the first major for-profit resort-styled CCRC in northern Scottsdale.
The impressive results
Built in 1999, the award-winning Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with 260 independent living units has enjoyed 100% occupancy and a significant wait list since its inception. A joint venture between Plaza Companies and Vi Living set the standard for excellence in senior living. The community also features a 90-bed health center including skilled nursing units, a memory support neighborhood and assisted living.
